Spectral House focuses on the publication of contemporary experimental music, primarily focusing on (but not limited to) works created or performed in Austin, TX. Brent Fariss and Bill Thompson formed Spectral House in 2001 as a way to debut their own works, as well as the music of other exciting composers. After a long hiatus, Spectral House was revived in 2011 by Nick Hennies alongside Fariss and Alex Keller.
